Federal investigators in New York have “gathered more evidence than previously known” from individuals in the President’s “inner circle,” related to the hush-money payments made to two women who claim they had affairs with President Donald Trump, Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.
According to the paper, prosecutors in the Manhattan US Attorney’s office interviewed Hope Hicks, the former White House communications director and longtime confidante of Trump, last spring and Keith Schiller, the President’s longtime bodyguard.
The paper also said investigators “learned of calls” between Schiller and David Pecker, the head of American Media Inc., the company that publishes the National Enquirer. Pecker worked with Michael Cohen, Trump’s former lawyer, to suppress potentially damaging claims made against candidate Trump by women, with AMI using a tabloid tactic called “catch and kill.”

Additionally, the Journal reported that investigators “possess a recorded phone conversation” between Cohen and a lawyer who represented the two women. Trump has denied having affairs with Stephanie Clifford, also known as Stormy Daniels, and Karen McDougal.
The paper said the investigators obtained information about Trump’s involvement in the payments “weeks before” Cohen implicated the President in the scheme during a court appearance last year.
According to the Journal, during a previously reported raid of Cohen’s home, office and hotel room last summer, investigators seized “a recording of a September 2017 phone call” between Cohen and Keith Davidson, Daniels’ attorney at the time. The call, the paper said, “was sparked by an inquiry to Mr. Davidson from a City National Bank client manager, asking about funds the lawyer had transferred” to Daniels. Davidson, according to the paper, was “worried that the bank’s singling out of the payment might mean the transaction was under federal investigation,” while Cohen, who had been recording the call, “didn’t indicate he was alarmed,” the paper said.
The Journal also said following the raid, investigators asked Hicks “about her contacts” with Pecker. They also asked “at least one other witness” about whether or not Hicks had “coordinated” with anyone at AMI as she was crafting a response to an inquiry from the Journal for a November 2016 story. The paper was working on a report about an AMI payment to McDougal for the rights to her story of an alleged affair with Trump.
As for Schiller, the Journal said investigators “were aware” Schiller “had spoken by phone” to Pecker and were looking to find out if the bodyguard had ever given the phone to Trump. The Journal said it “couldn’t determine what investigators learned.”

Wrestling Injuries In High School
Wrestling is a very competitive sport. It consists of using your hands ,feet and you can use your body as a weapon to defend yourself from any take downs.
Some setbacks in the sport are getting injured by another wrestler or hurting yourself from an overly aggressive move. Another big factor that may cause your fighting abilities to be stressed is fighting on an empty stomach. There are limitations that fighters must follow. In some fights some opponents tend to break these rules, leading to much more serious injuries. The first rule wrestlers in High School all know is to wrestler in folkstyle, not in freestyle. The second rule is not to do dangerous moves of any style. For example Alex is an 18 year old student at Franklin D. Roosevelt High School. Alex was one of the captains of the Franklin D. Roosevelt wrestling team. He was a very hard worker who always came to practice and try to push his team to do better and give motivations before any match or tournament. They had a city tournament which was in Lincoln High School in Saturday February 5, 2019. It was a troubling day for his team because they had lost a great wrestler. Due to a move by Emir, a wrestler from Midwood High School, Alex’s to broke his arm.
This picture shows what happened to the captain Alex at the end of the match (Alex’s arm in the city tournament). He was such a great wrestler people were saying After Alex left the match and went to the hospital. This accident stopped him from wrestling in the state tournament. However Alex’s coach Daniel Michael, said that he will do his best to help Alex to get better so he can wrestle next year. Coach Daniel also said he had lost one of his best wrestlers this year.
As a CNN writer, I hope that arm accident won’t cause him to stop the sport. I also hoping to see Alex Mick next season doing much better and getting in shape and do very well after his injury. Alex had followed the wrestling rules, but his opponent did not follow them which caused the injury to Alex’s arm.

Women’s Rights in Saudi Arabia
Freedom is the power and ability to express who you are and who you want to be. Freedom is a form of power that many Americans possess. It is unfortunate that many Americans take the power for granted. Here in America, we have many privileges that many people in other countries do not have. In America, we have the freedom of speech and many rights such as the right for women to vote. In other countries, women are not allowed to vote and are forbidden to ever speak in public. For example, most of the people in Saudi Arabia is governed by sharia law, which is quite strict with regard to sexuality. Many people are held back due to religious reasons or the law. In America, you can marry the person you truly love , even if you are the same gender or the same sex. In most countries same- sex marriage is forbidden, unlawful, and could even get you killed. Women have the ability to be more than just your average housewife. In a country such as Saudi Arabia, women still do not have the right to vote. Until recently women in Saudi Arabia did not have the freedom to drive. Women in Saudi Arabia are not allowed to go out out of the house without their husbands to take them anywhere.
Many women in Saudi Arabia are oppressed because they are not allowed to wear what they want to wear. They wear a veil and long black dress, which is called burqa. This is to be worn by all women. Women are not allowed to wear anything that may show their figure or reveal their hair. It is not a old religious, some say, man-made, law that restricts women’s clothing in public. Laws have been changing the past couple of years. Women and young girls are allowed to play sports in school, whereas in past years, women were banned from all sports.
Here in America women can go to any sporting event, but until recently in Saudi Arabia, women were not allowed to attend any sporting event. The government just gave freedom for women to attend any sporting event. The King of Saudi Arabia, before 2018, banned women from attending any sporting event such as soccer, which is significant in Saudi Arabia. Only males were allowed to view soccer games in public.
In Saudi Arabia, women were not allowed to join the military because their families were against it. Now with this new law, the government just gave the right for Saudi Arabian women to able to serve in the military, but they get to earn a high school diploma, and they get to mentally and physically compete. Also, in Saudi Arabia, any woman that would come forward in regards to sexual harassment would be frowned upon, and the judge would always rule in the males’ favor. Before 2018, women were banned from driving. Women were fined and arrested in Saudi Arabia because they were seen driving in public.
Many women faced many challenges due to not being able to drive and relying on poor public transportation or a male guardian to take them to work. In Saudi Arabia, education for women is a new thing because many women had struggled to get their education, that is, they had to through many trials and ask for guardians. Saudis started to educate their housewives instead of having them stay at home
The oppression has been lifted in Saudi Arabia because Saudis want their wives to be educated so the wives could help their husbands with raising their kids and teaching them, so the kids are better. Saudi Arabia’s new generation is coming up, which will start to give more rights to women to educate themselves. More women in future generations will be educated and will change the society view on females being educated.
Women back in Saudi Arabia have to go through many obstacles so they can finish their education. For example, I talked to my aunt. She want though so many trials so she could finish her education. My family was against it, and wanted her to get married after she finished high school. However my aunt did not want to get married and she refused to get married and wanted to to finish education, so she did not listen to my grandma and my grandpa, and she went to college. She finished college, and she became a teacher, which was very complicated for her but she still did it.
In conclusion, many of us take freedom for granted. Freedom to me is the ability to educate yourself freely, to have equal rights, to live in a way that both men and women can speak freely. It means to me the right to speak or say something you want to say without you worrying about what going to happen to you. Our future for women in Saudi Arabia will empower all women from all over the world. Women will have the power and mental freedom to conquer the world, which some still see the world as a man’s world. Generations are changing to the better, and slowly people are adapting to the culture where all men and women are equal.
Dear prof Sarah Schmeler
My journey this year was busy with work and school at the same time, which was exhausting, because i had to head to work right after I was done with all my classes. I used to go to work while I was very tired, but juggling two full time schedules was a first for me. However, I did not give up on either of them. My brother was able to help me out with work this semester, so that I could get a little rest after I was done with my classes. This journey has taught me how to work harder through my struggles. This semester, in this class I was able to meet such good friends who has helped me out when I needed their help or advise. This motivated me to continue to do better in school. I was also able to help other students as well, which really made love this class even more. Professor Schmerler made the class better with her creative style of teaching, and she had made the course easy by making herself available during office hours, and by using her excellent skills to teach the class, which made it easier to understand.
My cure was no given.
My cure was renewing as my way of reasoning.
In these enjoyable experts “Backpacks vs. Briefcases” by Laura Carroll the author tends to go over some interesting topics. In the “Backpacks Vs. Briefcases”, the author is describing how the Rhetorical analysis has been around for so long and how society is so used to it, we often don’t realize how big of a deal it maybe. I found myself understanding the “Backpacks Vs. Briefcases” to the fact Carroll actually puts an image in your head right off the bat you could automatically relate to. For example, when she mentions first impressions, that’s probably the best thing I could relate to due to the fact I am guilty of doing it. They go on to talk about how it mostly impacts mostly on students.
Ingredients for wrestling.
Wrestling is combat involving grappling type of techniques such as clinch fighting, throws, take downs and pins.
Recipe for wrestling :
1. Standing wresting which is very important because you can defend your legs, sprawling, hand control, hand fighting, head and shoulder positioning, blocking skills, a good stance, keeping good motion in a stance, snap downs, shrugs, and go-behinds.
2.Underneath wrestling the elements here are stands ups, escaping with correct hand control, sit outs, switches, rolls, defending from leg riding, and escaping leg riding.
3.Strength is very important because wrestler should know his body type to build it into his/her ultimate wrestling machine, and that’s going to mean a different workout and regimen for each person. When it comes to strength training, there are a few elements that do apply to everyone such as power/explosion, and strength as in how much weight you can move.
4.General conditioning you can perform at your highest internist all match long with a clear and calm mind.
5.Fixability is you good for wrestles so he/she can not get cramp while they are wrestling.
6. Nutrition is very good to us as wrestles so we ca gain energy.
7. Attitude is nice for wrestles because bring from them focus and motivation.
1.How did you feel about the Constraint Writing assignment when you first got it — and how did you feel after you completed it? How did you feel after the second time you wrote with constraint, and the third — did it get easier?
The constraint assignment was tough for me at first, but it was keeping challenge myself to enjoyed it. The second and third time I wrote using constraints was easier than the first time and felt like I could get it and write better because I wasn’t as depressed as the first time and in felt more comfortable to do it when I did it the second time and the third time.
2. What did you observe about the way this exercise made you write? What did you observe about the way it made you think (see below)?
2A. What were some of the ways in which writing with constraints made you
Adapt — Mentally, and Physically?
I observed that this practice made me write out of the format that I usually do when doing school work.
3. Could you look to the future, and say how you might Adapt what just happened in this assignment to other situations in which you find yourself writing in other classes?
If I were to write an essay about something, I didn’t agree with but had to agree with it I would conform and find what I do agree with the essay and keep my thought the same.
4. Of course, writing with constraints is difficult. Now, please talk about your own longstanding, personal writing issues: what other difficulties do you notice in your writing? Please reflect upon any habitual issues you notice in general: for instance, grammatical issues, punctuation issues, paragraph structure…
I have hardness with to start the sentence and punctuation because sometimes I be punctuation it right but I write it different . Sometimes have hard time with paragraph structure like what should I start writing in the top of the paragraph and I have trouble how to end the paragraph however it’s only like I feel that way if the assignment I’m not to enjoying in it or when I doubt myself that I’m doing it right.
