Local Pizza Parlors vs. Chain Pizza Franchise: The Better Pizza

Pizza is one of America’s favorite food. The mouth-watering flat, open-faced baked pie of Italian origin, consisting of a thin layer of bread dough topped with spiced tomato sauce and cheese, often garnished with anchovies, sausage slices, mushrooms, etc. originated from Gaeta, Italy in 997 AD.  In 1905, Gennaro Lombardi opened the first pizzeria in New York, United States of America. In the present time, there are two types of pizza joints in the US: local pizza joints and chain pizza franchises. The lingering question of which is better of the two has been a long debate.

Local pizzerias are the place to satisfy one’s hunger. Chain pizza franchise can be found in every corner of the States. On the other hand, local pizza parlors can only be found within the area, therefore, caters only a number of customers.

On the other hand, chain pizza franchise takes pride of their distinct taste in which the regular costumers go to whenever they need a pizza fix, unlike local pizza parlors where customers are uncertain as to the overall taste of their pizzas. Moreover, chain pizza franchise already had made its mark in the industry that they must uphold the name of the franchise at all times. Local pizza parlors, on the other hand, are more experimental on making artisanal pizza, which somehow, turns disastrous at times.

Local produce or ingredients are used by local pizza parlors which make them unique from other pizzerias. However, these ingredients may not be readily be available; since, some are seasonal. For this reason, local pizza parlors can be inconsistent with its menu. On the contrary, chain pizza franchise has ready and available ingredients that could last for a long time. The latter’s quality of pizza is known upon arrival.

At times, people crave for pizza at the later time of the day had only the option to order from chain pizza rather than the local pizza parlor since the former closes in the later time of the day. The availability of the pizza of the chain pizza franchise during anytime of the day gives appeal to its customers. Therefore, local pizzas have only become an option because of its accessibility.

Lastly, local pizza chains are mostly expensive since it uses fresher ingredients and are less greasy than chain pizza franchise. The profit of the local pizza parlors is also dependent on the price range of their ingredients; they rarely give discounts, unlike chain pizza franchises, which, are extravagant, to the point that they have promos such as Buy One Get One (BOGO) pizzas.

Loyal eating customers look for consistency in a product, to which case, the chain franchise can cater its customers. Chain pizza franchise deems to cater more to the customers than local pizza parlors by quality, accessibility, availability and price. Therefore, branded pizza franchise is the place in time of need.

Table tennis is a very fun and enjoyable game. Ping-pong is the name actually caught on and we still use it today. When I was in high school I learn table tennis. I was an ESL student. I wasn’t able to speak with other students that I want to learn the game. One day I went to my math teacher and I told him I want to learn table tennis. The next day we went to practice. He teach me how to serve the ball and how to hold the paddle. After that we practice every day after school. Table tennis is a fast game that requires skills to win. One of the skills that every player masters is a perfect spin. Another important thing is how to face spin ball. My opponent try to different type of spins to make me fool. In order face the different type spins I have to hold my paddle different angle. I have to ensure that I have right equipment and high quality. Table tennis has physical and mental benefits to me. It engages my mind and demand quick strategies and decisions to win. It trains my mind to focus and make quick decisions based on your opponent’s actions.

My favorite genre is NFL broadcasting. I am really in love with Colin Cowherd sports broadcasting. Whenever new episode coming I watch and share with brother. Most of the time he talks about a free agent, new draft and players traded into a different team and how it will impact the team. Recently New York Giants trade their star receiver, Odell Beckham. Cowherd thinks it was a mistake but me and my brother it was a good idea to trade him. Giants GM Dave wants to rebuild the franchise. He wants to rebuild the team and bring the super bowl home.

The Fear of God

My fears is about life after death. As a Muslim I belives their is life after death. We have two option either Haven or Hell. I am worried about Hell.In Islam, Hell is described in very graphic terms in both the Koran and the Hadith. Their theology teaches that there are several levels of Hell. The first level of Hell is reserved for Muslim sinners, the second is for idolaters who were polytheists, the third level is for worshippers of fire, and the fourth level is for atheists. By the time you get to the fifth and sixth levels you find out who are the real enemies of Islam because the fifth is reserved for Jews and the sixth for the Christians. The seventh and last is for hypocrites which could include Muslims. All Muslims who have not pleased God will also fall into one of the hells, but by the grace of Allah, they can be brought out. It is true that as Christians, we have a fiery Hell as a part of our theology, but we concentrate more on Heaven than on Hell. In the holy writings of Islam there are very graphic descriptions of the pain and torment that will be experience by those in Hell. Such graphic details as skin being slowly peeled off the body only to grow back again and peeled off again and again, bloated stomachs exploding because of the liquid they drink, and other painful experiences are vividly described. Reading such descriptions only elevate the fear level in believers.

To overcome my fears what I do practice Islam as much as you can, respect yours parents, find a teacher, keep away from debates and arguments, understand Islam’s organic nature, maintain your identity, force myself go to masjid, avoid loneliness, stay away from extremism, and do not despair.
