I then researched what this meant because I myself could not answer the question because I knew nothing of what those terms meant. I found this word while reading a part of the Universe Strikes Back by Ellen Lupton. It can be found on the first page of the reading where it says, “Modernism sought a common language built on systems and modularity in contrast, the post-modernists valorized the special idioms and dialects of cultures and subcultures.” To me this shows how the post-modernists gave value to the idioms and dialects of other cultures.

I encountered this word while reading the task for Project #1 on September 4th, 2015. “Include in your bio a description of what you are passionate about, what you see as your design aesthetic,”
Now by knowing what aesthetic means I now understand that it is asking me about what I see as my design style and how I go about creating my works.
