During this project, I reviewed a familiar yet complex topic in the subject of color, brightness, and saturation. I feel that I could have improved my craftmanship closer to the beginning of the project and still remains as a problem for me. However, I do feel like I have come to understand the nature of different colors in a new way.

Our band name is Spicy Crush. We both agree on using yellow as our background. Then I decide to use pure color for the band name,the heading for chromatic grey,and the blocks to be muted color as paste colors. Since our band name is spicy crush, I decide to put a fire symbol in the middle.

Our band name is Spicy Crush, IĀ wanted the blocks to be chromatic grey, the background to have a pure color, and the letters to be muted. ShanShan and I could not decide which one was best for us because they both looked similar but different order in saturation and ShanShan wanted to change hers again.

I genuinely felt this project is complicated for me, as I don’t have an exquisite sense of color, thus, it is little hard for me to get the desired color; also it is pain in the neck to work with gouache, but, this project is fun and reallyĀ enjoyable experience Ā despiteĀ all the negativities.Ā “Sense of color can be trained through practice.”Ā this is what I believe after this project, IĀ feel what I took away from this project can really help me on the future projectĀ whetherĀ isĀ Ā using colors to deliverĀ feeling Ā or ect.
