Project #3 Noir

Define
In project 3 we took a dramatic picture and applied a noir filter that creates depth.
Deliver
This painting was the second last part of project 3 and toom some time to be able to create the depth that was needed. These types of paintings relate t0 early painting that focused on monochromatic colors.

Something I learned form this project is that when I claim that I can’t do something I can do it even better than I imagined. Something I could have done better is take my time to include more details but it still came out pretty good. Based off what I learned from this project one thing I would like to take with me to my next project is patience. - know the source
- know how reliable the source can be
- biased vs unbiased
- sometimes we don’t get the information directly from the source
- +sometimes information comes to us instead of us going to get it–we need to question it.
- academic source–what is it, do we want to use it, why?
- research article, from a research journal
- usually written by professors, graduate students, other academic workers, researchers at related or non-academic institutions
- questions about research as you’re doing Project #4 or any other work?
- do more research!
- ask a librarian!

In, “How better photos can help you document, and shape, your neighborhood ” by Patrick Sisson he states, ‘Wolfe outlines a philosophy that reflects his multihyphenate nature, blending the artistic approach of a photographer with the rigor of a lawyer.’
In this sentence, the author uses the word Multihyphenated to describe how he has a broad way of thinking.
