A discord community make sense because people like be with other people who understand or have same interests as them. Â You wouldn’t see some who like video games be friends with someone who don’t like video games. this help people come together do amazing thing like game con. people thought that people who play video games where anti social but it not true . gamer would group up to show love interest in games. It help find out who you are. you might have been chilling with this one group that has nothing in common with you and you felt like outsider unit you find that one group that works for you.

Writers Statement
Discourse Communities, Genres, and Rhetoric make sense to me because, in my opinion, they have really good concepts to make you understand how other discourse communities work. Discourse communities play a role in my everyday life because I find myself in a new environment almost every day and thinking to myself of how I am going to fit in. I have learned a lot about genres because in a way we use it every day and they also teach us about genre in high school and the one that I mostly remember is fiction because a lot of the things that we read in school wasn’t real and then we would have to write an essay on it after.

The ideas of discourse communities, genres and rhetoric make sense to me and it is very useful concept as well. As by learning discourse communities, we came to learn about diversities of different cultural People and different society. Discourse communities helps you to introduce yourself with different environment and culture and teach to adopt it for a better future. On the other hand genres is a part of our life and from early childhood, we are very acquainted with different types of genres and till now the genre is a big part in our life. Within the evaluation of time genres changes but still plays an important role in our daily life. In school, I learned about a lot of genres which I didn’t think before but now I know that genres are also very important for writer. Finally, rhetoric is persuasion of speaking and writing. It makes the statement and speech more meaningful and technically well organized and give a shape to the writing. So all of these discourse communities, genres and rhetoric is very important for a writer to enhance their writing skill . If any one of these missing in our life then writing would not be that meaningful and oriented .

The ideas of Discourse Communities, Genres, and Rhetoric make sense to me. They’re useful concepts, you see these concepts everyday. Discourse communities are useful to understand how a group of different people come together for similar things/interests and how you can be in many different discourse communities at the same time. There are many different types of genres and different things that go with it. And Rhetoric is used early in life, depends on the situation and the different ways to appeal to your audience. I’ve never really thought about Discourse communities or  how it was useful before. I think about Genres and Rhetoric all the time, when I’m picking a movie, when I’m in class, just all the time.

Since we learned more about these concepts in class it helps me understand a lot more whenever I see theses communities again in the future such as specific languages that specific groups use. Yes, I do believe the ideas portrayed as Discourse communities, genres, and rhetoric are useful concepts as they are created to be able to guide groups of people to meet a common goal through the means of social construct as the community have to use such as genre discourse which has to do with the type and structure of language used to convey for a particular purpose in a particular context which I find highly important as you want to get your ideas to be approached in a particular manner as it can greatly influence the outcome of the project or the goal. The same can be said about rhetoric discourse as symbols can and will convey varies messages that can also influence decisions and the way we can communicate with one another just like how today in society we use emojis to convey how we’re feeling rhetoric discourse can do the same. Discourse communities are great. I can see myself using the ideas of a discourse community as an artist to better understand the community that back me up and see how we together as an artist and a fan can come to further push whichever project I have released or about to release. It’s a great way to bring people together and leverage them to greater heights.

Discourse Communities, Genres, and Rhetoric makes a lot of sense to me. Is a useful concept that everybody will do, see or probably do in their life. Discourse community is a major part of life, because it can help you to grow as a human being, and to learn a lot of things that can turn helpful to become successful in the future. Genres is an important topic to learn about. Genres has been manipulated greatly over the years and has been used to create a whole new scene of sub-genres, hybrids etc. Even though students are introduced to the concept of genres very early in school, I don’t remember all of them. Rhetoric was one of the main subjects of study in classical times, the art of persuasive speaking (rhetoric) is such an important skill in the academic environment. However, in general all these topics are very important we have always seen them we used them we have pass thru any of them, like discourse community, also, we have favorites genres etc.

The ideas of Discourse Communities, Genres, and Rhetoric make sense to me, and they’re useful concepts, because after I learn about those, I could understand other people’s Discourse Communities, and then I can better assimilate into their talking. Also, I know about there is much type of genres for our writing, and different types of genre have different advantage for writers. such as informative genre is specific describe the information to readers. I have thought about them before when I took high school, at that time, my English teacher teach us about using persuasion to write your argument, it will make audience trust your opinion. Also, you want to make the piece emotional and leave the reader heartbroken or shocked in a way.
