June 17, Kube Hotel, Sacre Coeur, Le Grand Bistro 17 eme

Busy, busy day today! First stop of the day was the Kube hotel, there we were shown several rooms with an minimalist concept and they all resembled an ice cube, with the shape and transparency. We also got to visit the ice bar where everyone was given a jacket and gloves to endure the -18 degree weather inside the room. Inside the bar we were given a juice cocktail in a ice cup and left to enjoy the music and experience the atmosphere. Afterwards we headed to Sacre Coeur for a student tour where we saw a couple taking wedding pictures. We trekked up a hill to Sacre Coeur and learned about the history and architect of the church and were amazed at the view of the city. After being dismissed from the class several of us decided to wander around and search for bargains in the area. Explored the area of Montmarte for a few hours and then we headed home to get ready for dinner at Le Grand Bistro 17 eme with Professor Lorenzini. Across the Pereire metro was where Le Grand Bistro 17 eme was located, the location which was chosen for dinner. There we were given tablets as menus and I ordered escargot, aberdeen steak and creme brulee. After dinner Professor Lorenzini went home and the rest of us decided to go to the Eiffel Tower to see the light show. There we enjoyed the view and experienced the night.
