I have been on the Board of Brooklyn Autism Center for over five years. The Brooklyn Autism Center (BAC) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) school serving children with special needs. They began sharing space with another school, and then grew to a larger school space and finally Fall 2013 have found a large permanent space.
Throughout their moves, I helped look at the spaces and determine the zoning and Department of Buildings Certificates of Occupancy . I have worked with them on floorplans and layouts of their spaces.
When they finally found their final space, they needed to images to show the teachers, parents and students the new space. I was able to find a former student to help them and guide him along the way. Here are some of the images:
