Project 1 – Andrew Chen – Step 1: Discover

 

   Ambiguous
One busy morning, the interior painter was rushing his way down the busy block.  He was late for work. Running down the block with buckets of paint cans, he dropped one of the buckets clumsily, spilling the white paint onto the concrete floor. He became an artist.

   Ambiguous 
People can do many things with old newspapers.  It can be folded into an airplane, it can also be folded into a boat, it can be folded into anything. This one happens to be folded out of frustration and hurt, that no one was able to see the contents of the newspaper. 

 

 

    Ambiguous
Man lost his job. His shame led him to the nearest bar.  Causing too much ruckus, he was kicked out of the bar. Then he wanders to the convenience store, already drunk, continuously grabbing another beer to numb his pain.  As he walks outside with his bottle beer, he saw someone with money, and an expensive car. He broke his beer bottle out of jealousy. The broken pieces of glass reflected his broken dreams.

   Obvious
Rent can be expensive in NYC. The hard times of the city gets people down, but not for this guy. You may ask why is that? This gum got rent free space. In a city that is limited of spaces, this guy has plenty and he is happy. 

   Obvious
Life is not sweet. Life can cause pain. A crack in the tile, is a sign that it is broken and will never be repaired again. Abandoned, lifeless, cold. Continuously being stepped on, never looked at, because no one cares.

 

   Obvious
Rusty, Tired, and Old. Isn’t that how it should look like? No. It’s a new beginning, which means a brand new renovated building and white painted pipes. What a sight!
