On October 18th, I had joined a networking event on our campus which is The Ribbon Cutting of The Pearl and located in the main floor of the Pearl Building, 300 Jay Street, Brooklyn NY, 11207. This ribbon cutting is one of the significant activities for our Communication Design Department, and to cheer The Communication Design Department’s new media study facility to complement our new Bachelor of Fine Arts program and accreditation to the National Association of Schools of Art and Design.

The Ribbon Cutting started at 12:45. Many people are coming over to the place to celebrating this ceremony; besides current students and the members of the faculty and staff, the department also invited its alumni to return for this giant event, including some successful alumni who have already gained extraordinary achievements in the industry. Therefore, I have also had the opportunity to meet them as well as catch a half hour before cutting for a one-on-one talk with these alumni and professors who taught me.
