I thought i knew what a sponsor was but I was confused by the way it was used in this sentence. I looked it up and realized a sponsor is not just someone who supports another individual but someone who takes responsibility too. Now I understand the context that sponsor was used in this sentence.

I didn’t understand how the word achingly was used in this sentence. However, once i read the definition i understand. People post information online without thinking of possible consequences. That is why it aches because they may regret it because of the consequences it has brought.

The definition helped me understand that being watched for some individuals is not okay. According, to the definition there is a conflict involved. Being watched is so inconvenient that some individuals have a conflict because they are uncomfortable.

When I first read this i thought the author was referring the water glowing but with the definition i realized that gloaming referred to the time of day. Using the definition i can understand that it was twilight during this scene.

when i read this for the fir time I didn’t understand the context stab was being used for. After looking at the definition i see that its not referring to a wound but to a risk at an objective. The paragraph was trying to say that the New England Complex System had taken a risk by taking this objective.
