“Greg Ruth Stories: A Love Letter” by Bill Sienkiewicz and Neil Gaiman was an interesting read. It was mainly discussing how humans automatically tell narrative stories everyday not even knowing and it is what separates us from other creatures in the world. I especially loved the last paragraph when Greg said “Storytelling is human magic in its most important form, writ large. It is by every definition an act of magic to make up a person, write/draw that person to such an extent as to create an emotional response in an actual real live human person”. I agree that regardless if its a movie, book or what have you people would find enjoyment and knowledge through storytelling.

Another quote Greg said that peaked my interest was this: “What story will you leave behind when you’re gone. Will it be worth retelling?” As a person who is creating an original cartoon, I am telling a story as well so people can learn and enjoy something out of it for many generations to come.
