Hello everyone, my name is Elliot Vidalon, a 3rd-year student in city tech (my 5th semester). My motivation and expectations for this class are the artists of the Japanese cartoon style aka. anime, I appreciate how unique the art style of anime competes from other styles, also the visual beauty within impressive me that I am willing to put all the effort to find my version of anime art style and perfect my illustration skills time by time. My expectation from this class to not only to have the best drawing version of myself but also to understand the basics and priorities of initialing a drawing with much meaning as I anticipated.

A small background of my foundation for Illustration is back in my senior year in high school, I started to watch anime at that time, little by little I was very committed of drawing an anime figure on my iPad screen by eye. For most cases that I finish a drawing, I feel satisfied and accomplished to do something that has never been done before in my lifetime, so I was proud of what I did. Over time, my drawing skills had kind of worn off, taking me from step one and it sucks for me to lose that ability but I’m more than willing to get back on my feet and reach new boundaries towards my illustration skills. I hope the motivation towards my goal will help me move forward.

FYI: This drawing is inspired by an amine called “Saint Seiya”, just got into it.
