Discussion 1 – Elliot Vidalon

Looking back on our class session, I think the reason to keep your sketchbook as it is, even if you dislikes of your past sketches is a process of your skill and this helps you see how can you improve for your upcoming project, it’s like taking notes with useful information. There’s an inspirational message saying, “practice makes perfect”, we’ve heard this quote a billion time probably from around your school year journey and I think this message gives a stronger purpose for keeping your sketchbooks, you can see how you have improved over the time no matter how embarrassed you are, it’s an evolution and it should mean a lot to you.

I’m going to share an image on the top to see that even if my sketch is not perfect, I am still willing to evolve from that foundation.

I agree that a sketchbook helps keep track of your progress and growth as an artist. Also your sketches looks really good especially with the hair styles shown.
