a touch of evil by Orson Wells is about a car bomb exploding on the American side of the U.S./Mexico border, and each side of the border comes to investigate. Mexican drug enforcement agent Miguel Vargas (throughout the movie he’s just called by Vargas) with famous renowned American police captain Hank Quinlan. as the investigation goes on Vargas begins to suspect that Quinlan and his shady partner, Menzies, are planting evidence to frame an innocent man after putting evidence of the explosion in the man apartment and we later found out that hank has been planting evidence for a very long time to keep his reputation, his investigations into their corruption quickly put himself and his new bride, Susie just trying to enjoy there honeymoon) in danger because both the cartel and the American investigators don’t like Vargas.
