Shown above are my thumbnail sketches for my ice cream idea: “Ragin’ Raspberry with added lime zest”. For all of these thumbnails, I wanted the illustrations to stay true to the name of the ice cream and feature something that represents rage/anger on the packaging. Next to each thumbnail sketch, I listed a brief description of the idea I had behind each of them. In the end, the three ideas I chose to move forward with are the one with the fist crushing an ice cream cone, the one with the lime and raspberry characters angrily “powering up” and the one with the shattered bowl and melting ice cream scoop.
