Project #2 Reflection

I have always liked working in groups and making friends because of working in those groups. Working in groups has always seemed to be fun until you have that one group member that does not pick up the slack. I don’t mined working in groups, in fact,  I feel that I work best in a group then I do alone. This project will be a great way and opportunity to learn the City Tech campus, and explore the neighborhood around this campus. In order to do this project, I need to find a monument around the university that stands out to me. Then, once I find the monument I would have to do my research based on that monument and discuss the new information that I discovered with my group. Arguing with your peers, understanding whether your monument should be taken down or for the right for it to stay, should be very interesting. This project is going to take a lot of time and dedication, I need to manage my time efficiently in order to get this project done in time which includes the work for my other classes as well. I would need to visit this schools library and take advantage of the internet access and also the wide range of books.

I too also work good in groups and I never slack in my group because I pick a part in the group that I know I wont slack on and I do my work for the part . Now when I am in a group though their is always someone who does not do their part and you have to cover for them. I don’t think that your arguing with your peers I think your just debating and that’s the point of different views when your in a group. Yes I think so also that this project will take a longer time though because it’s many parts to this project.

Hey Edwin, I agree that in some groups there is that person who does not pick up slack and I have that same problem with worrying about that but I also love the idea of getting to know our campus area and how interesting it should be

Yes! There is always that person in a group project. I agree with what you said about improving time management. This project wil require all of us to take to conduct research and find a monument to utilize for the project. I hope that everyone in their groups can work with each other schedules it would make things so much easier for everyone.

I agree there is always that one person who slacks off, but if they are struggling the group should come together and help them. I also feel like I work best in groups, you get different points of views and it is easier to understand what ever you are doing.

Totally agree with you! Group project can be fun but sometime there’s that one member decided to slack off and not do anything. Having those kind of group mate can really ruined the project. If they’re struggling then I get the point but if they’re just simply don’t want to participate then that’s a different story. I hope everyone will participate in the project because it’s going to take a month to finish!
