I think the manifesto for design is this:
Confidence – We need to have enough confidence in our designs. Plagiarizing other people’s work is also an act of not being confident in your own design.
Accept Criticism – Certainly not to accept excessive criticism, but to accept criticism that you think is justified. Properly following other people’s advice will make your designs better and better.
Love what you do – It is important to love what you are designing and what you are doing. If you don’t love it then why do it? If you don’t love what you do, that thing won’t make sense to you, and it won’t be a good product to love.

    That’s a good point you have on criticism. Without it, there’s no way to fully improve ourselves or have an outside point of view of our designs.
