My name is Andrea Encalada. I recently graduated from Forest Hills High School on June 2013. Now I’m a  present student attending  to City College of Technology majoring in Accounting . The  accountant program is only for two years, therefore I plan to do my best this two years to be able to continue my studies in another university. My goal is to get my masters degree on this major, and I believe I can achieve it with dedication and fortitude. I’m a very friendly person but at times I really enjoy to be alone because it helps me think about my future and what are good options and goals to achieve .

The avatar in my profile picture it’s me. In the  background there’s numerous trees surrounding me. This image  represents me because it shows how I’m alone and instead of being surrounded by people or in a place where it’s likely for people to be there, there’s only the trees and me. By me being alone it shows how I am shy and feel more comfortable in a environment that is peaceful and with little number of people. Also by me looking straight at the camera it represents  the determination I have to move forward in life and do the best I can to have a good future. Finally, by my smile in the picture it shows that I am a happy and humble person. Even though am shy at first once I get use to people I’m a good friend to be around.

Even thought my avatar has one particular meaning to me, am sure people can interpret it in many different ways. Everyone has their own opinion of things and may misread my avatar. For example, in my picture I see it as representing how shy but determined I am. For someone else that image of me may represent someone that is antisocial or doesn’t like people at all. There’s many ways a image can be interpreted but is only important how you feel about it.

My profile would convey that I am a person that is shy but when I get comfortable am a great person to be around. It will also convey that am really determined to be someone in life so I won’t stop until I accomplish my goal as an accountant. It’s important that my profile shows this because this way it would show others the determination I have which makes me the person that I am today. It’s also really important to have a bio in my profile so it would show people details of me that only with my avatar they cants see. Lastly, my profile will also convey the hope I have for this college years to be a great experience for me.

Hi my name is Mohammed Shahzad. I graduated from Hillcrest High School. It was a big accomplishment for me. Now I’m currently enrolled as a freshmen in the Computer Engineering Technology program at New York City College of Technology. Its my dream college. I was born on July 4, 1995. When I found out its the Independence Day I felt special. We are 4 brother and sisters. Me, my little sister, another little sister and my little brother. Well I’m a very quiet person. Its just a thing since beginning I love staying quiet. I remember on Parent Teacher Conference my teachers use to tell my parents that he is so quiet that sometimes we don’t know if he is in class or not. I don’t really have a favorite sport but I love playing Volleyball and Cricket. My hobby is to run. I love running. I remember back in my country I raced all the guys in my class which were about 20 and I won. Well this is my first year in college, I heard a lot how professors are very strict and how they give you so much work, so I hope for the best.

My avatar is me. As you can see it’s outside which can tell I love being outside. As I said before I’m a very shy and quiet person. I chose this avatar because it shows that I’m a friendly person and how I love being outside. I love nature. I’m a very fun person to talk to but people might not think about that. I love making new friends and I’m not a nerd. I love technology stuff and that’s why my major is Computer Engineering.

People are very fast at judging others. I have been called a nerd just because I wear glasses and it kinda makes me think how people can judge you in so many ways by just looking at your appearance. Its totally wrong because you never know how the person really is from the inside. I wear glasses because I use to play video games a lot and my eye sight got problems. I once got bullied in High School in lunch time and the bullies took off my glasses. It was an insult for me and I had no other choice but go tell the dean. From then I did feel bad that why I wear glasses and that maybe I cant fit in this society but then when I started making friends it was like a new life for me.

My profile might convey that I’m a friendly person. What people think of me is not true. I love making new friends. I love technology so that’s why I believe Computer Engineering is the best major for me. I don’t know what else to say but this is me. I wish my college life will be good and I hope to learn new stuff and meet new people.

My name is Guan Chen. I was born in China on July 6th 1995 and I immigrated to the United States of America on July 4th 2000. I attended P.S. 200, I.S. 281, and I graduated Brooklyn Technical High School in June 2013. Even since I immigrated to America, I’ve always lived in Brooklyn, more specifically, Bensonhurst. Growing up, I’ve always loved electronics. When I got my first computer, I was always on it. I rarely ever went outside. I was on the computer after school  every day  until I went to sleep and this was basically my everyday routine. Computer and games have been a huge part of my life since I was a kid. Now that I’m in college, I hope to get a business degree and get a job in a corporate company after I graduate.

The avatar I chose to use is that of a boy in a shark hoodie. The boy in my avatar is smiling and holding a cupcake. This avatar in many ways represents me. A hoodie, is my favorite piece of clothing. One of my greatest passions has always been poker. On a poker table, the players that are better than the other players and consistently takes other players money is known as a shark. I hope to one day be a shark at a poker table, winning and taking the money of those weaker players known as a fish. Another interpretation of the shark boy in my avatar is sharks in the business world. A shark in the business world means someone who is tackling every opportunity to make money and always ruthlessly destroying their competition to make the most money possible. I hope to one day become a shark in the business world with a career in finance along with being a shark on the poker table. The smile on my avatar shows that I’m generally a happy person. My main goal in life is just to be happy and if I am happy, then I know I am on the right path in life.

My avatar is a pretty cute one. The drawing looks like something out of a cartoon. This may confuse a person looking at my avatar to think that this may have come from a cartoon. I didn’t choose this avatar because of a cartoon. The avatar is wearing a shark hoodie which can lead someone to believe I like marine life. I’m personally not very fond of aquatic animals. One can interpret from this avatar that I’m a very shy person because my avatar is blushing. I’m actually not that shy and I normally wouldn’t blush.

My profile will display me as a person. If I become anything like my avatar I will be happy whether i’d be a shark in the business world or a shark on the poker table taking people’s money. My profile will also show the projects and courses I’m enrolled in. It’ll also display the people I’ve befriended. This is important because it’ll be like a record sheet for me. It’ll show what I’ve done from the beginning to the end and display my accomplishments when I complete a course or a project for myself and others to see.
