Final Illustration

For my final value I struggled a bit with the values because I had tiny detailed things I wasn’t sure how to approach in black and white. Ultimately I think it came out fine and it overall works well. Its not my proudest drawing in terms of the thick linework and the actual bear itself but its not too terrible to where I hate it. Overall i was trying to achieve a sunset meadow area showcasing our main focal point being the bear. I wanted to give off the vibe and relaxation and I think I was able to achieve that. I think if I was able to use color this illustration would’ve been much stronger. Even though I struggled with the black and white I feel like I really improved my illustration when I started to cross hatch. It makes the illustration way more interesting to look at.

And for my final colored art i was happy with what i came up with because it wasnt in black and white and i felt that color really helped improve my illustration.
