I really liked this illustrated label from Off Color Brewing, “Blueberries Feel Pain”. I really love the sketch/loose style where it’s not totally perfect and it looks like a kid could have drawn it, which ironic since it is beer. I chose this piece because it is minimalist and it uses cool tone colors, which I love. I think the typography works super well too and it’s an amazing piece. I believe if this wasn’t a sketchy more childlike style it wouldn’t work as well. I thought it was interesting how they compared it to Alice and wonderland because I really didn’t see it at first but then I realized where they were coming from. I love this overall aesthetic and I love the little mouse getting his revenge, I suppose you can say, on the blueberries.
