Loney Abrams’ article about “5 Steps To Starting A Sketchbook Habit” had some really good points. The point of bringing your sketchbook with you is for you to jot down ideas and something that interested you while on your way. Drawing in your sketch is supposed to bring out the creativity as your mind wonders. Another thing that I personally need to work on in terms of drawings in my sketchbook is not to perfect things. Not everything in your sketchbook needs to be perfected, sometimes just the sketch is good enough. Sometimes I would start doodling and I would have no clue what I am even drawing at first then it turns into something cool. Drawing in a sketchbook also helps relieve stress or blow off some steam if that day isn’t going well for you.
