Assignment 2 Part 2-Kayla

For my design, I chose to do two concept sketches of the deer sitting down having a coffee while reading with two human heads mounted on the wall, like a reverse world with the words “How would you like it?” and for the other a zebra and a rhino protesting to stop trophy hunting with a sign and a rhino breaking a shotgun. The article I chose was “UK announces ban on trophy hunting imports” from https://www.nationalgeographic.co.uk/environment-and-conservation/2021/12/uk-announces-ban-on-trophy-hunting-imports .

Sketchbook 8- Kayla

Decided to draw these two pictures towards the bottom left of the images. For both drawings I used a 0.1 micro pen and a 0.7 micro pen. Being that I love drawing humans and sunflowers, I thought these were my best choices since I enjoy drawing them.

Assignment 2-Part 1 Kayla W.

This matters to people who care about our ecosystem and see how damaging we can be when people are careless and have no empathy about animals. Animals are going extinct due to our many harmful actions we use them for besides eating. They have feelings too and people have selfishly used them for testing, torture, trophy hunting, sport, etc. Animals should have rights the same way we do because we are animals too. Not all humans understand that they are just as important to keeping this world together as we are. I’m going to focus more on the trophy hunting part about this from the national geographic magazine. https://thehumaneleague.org/article/animal-rights https://www.nationalgeographic.co.uk/environment-and-conservation/2021/12/uk-announces-ban-on-trophy-hunting-imports
