“Not because high school was difficult – it wasn’t – but because of the freedom and increased amount of time we have allotted for whatever we need/want to do” – https://openlab.citytech.cuny.edu/roseneng1101f2017/2017/09/11/project-1-19/-  “project  #1 written by JayG”

When I first read that sentence and looked at the word I thought that it meant an excessive amount and then I read the sentence in which it was placed again and thought about not really being an excessive amount but just about enough time to do as we wish. I realize that my second thought is more of it than my first because the first idea is just saying a lot of time but by the definition and linking it back into the context that was made I realized it’s not just an abundance of time but it’s how it is distributed. While going back into that sentence it helped because in high school it’s not just a bunch of time but it’s just enough time for us to move and do things as we would please.
