Social media seems to be taking over the world. Now that people have so much access to social media they are using it as their best friend and confining in social media as a way of life. The amount of time people spend on social media on the day to day basis is almost equivalent to the amount of time we spend sleeping. 

 Apple realized and studied the amount of time spent on social media and used it to their advantage in marketing apple and it services and products. Their study was pure genius. Why would they have created another software? Realizing the way the operating system on a computer has converged Apple created simple all in-one application in order to make things simpler. Apple utilized that same aspect and applied it into their marketing scheme.
