Our experience with Prezi

After using Prezi for our in-class presentation on Wednesday I have to admit that I am surprised. Until now there was basically one universal tool known to me; PowerPoint. Prezi seems to have an enormous potential, maybe even to surpass the Microsoft’s ultimate and leading application. This new and innovative tool was really interesting and fun to play with. A lot of new and fresh ideas were implemented; nice and clear interface for convenience of use or even the eye-soothing look. Prezi might be the future’s leading presentation application.

In-class Prezi

With the in-class assignment, our only problem was the time constraint. Gaining a firm grasp of the material and planning consumed the majority of our time. But after we discussed how we’d present it, we knew exactly what the Prezi tiles would include. One thing that served as a very minor drawback was that our originally assigned 3rd group member didn’t make it to class. However, our new member was completely up-to-speed in under 10mins. We found it easy to present our views mostly because we could agree with the material of some of the articles we discussed. Half of them were pro-manufacturing and combatted the very issues that the antagonists brought up. Another aspect that made the process fairly simple was the plethora of available visuals for our topic – the U.S. manufacturing tech. We gathered a few pictures, but just didn’t have the time to put it all together the way we had planned.

Experience from Presentation

Some of the good things about using prezi were that it was simple, makes the presentation more interesting and you can use a lot of things in the presentation such as; pictures, videos, graphs, etc..

Even though prezi is simple to use, there are so many things that we can do, that it will take a lot of time to make a decent presentation. Other than that, everything else was really good. I have just one question; In one of the tutorial videos that were shown in class today, the guy presenting didn’t speak through the whole presentation, instead he put up a song. The tutorial was still good and it was very effective, so the question is; Are we going to be allow to do one of this presentations?

Business Letter To Apple Computers

Apple Computers
1 Infinite Loop,
Cupertino CA 95014
USA
Dear Apple Computers,
I have been a loyal apple customer for many years however your last device the iPhone 5 to me falls short of your vision of great products that innovate. The iPhone 5 is honestly a remake of your current device in a simply new package and minor enhancements that don’t directly impact the customer, yet only put us in a awkward spot with now incompatible accessories and wasted money. It seems as if the creativity that once was has gone to wayside and I’m completely taken back by this.
Having many Apple products I know what you can deliver and what these products can do to enhance my professional and personal life. But I can’t justify spending over $200 for the same phone. To me that’s an insult on our intelligence as consumers. Step up the creativity and live up to what you have created innovative products not reiterations.
Sincerely,
Jerome Gayle

U.S. & tech manufacturing

Our topic is a take on whether or not the USA should mass produce tech.
What we know:

  • The U.S. isn’t rich in many of the natural minerals necessary to produce plastics and other materials
  • The U.S. takes labor laws seriously – a sweatshop on US soil would be terminated by Federal forces.

Information – Intro

Information is mostly being send and receive through the network, which is always convenient for being faster and more reliable. There are many ways to write down information but I believe that is always better to write as simple as possible so that way the receiver will understand it better. I also believe that the internet is the best way to send information since you can send it to long distances unlike the phone that you are only able to send it to local places.

There are ways to call or send information through a phone internationally but at a great price. That’s why I believe that the internet is more reliable and cheaper.

How i like to make my PB&J sandwich (Revised)

The peanut butter and jelly sandwich or PB&J is a sandwich, popular in North America, that includes a layer of peanut butter and either jam or jelly on bread, commonly between two slices, but sometimes eaten open-faced or with one slice folded over.

To enjoy this delight, you will need the following:

  • 2 slices of bread (Good for one sandwich)
  • Peanut Butter
  • Jelly or Jam( Grape Jelly preferred)
  • Spreading Knife
  • Spoon
  • Toaster
  • Dinner Plate
  • Kitchen knife

Take 2 slices of bread and place in the toaster slots for about 1:30 minutes. This should make the bread hard so that when you put the peanut butter on the bread, it won’t break.

  1. Place the heated slices of bread on a plate. Open up the bottle of peanut butter and take the spreading knife.
  2. Take the peanut butter on the spreading knife from the bottle and spread as much as you can onto one piece of bread until the whites of the bread are covered with peanut butter.
  3. Place the covered bread on a plate and put away the spreading knife.
  4. Open up the grape jelly jar and take a spoon to put jelly on the second slice of bread.
  5. Take some jelly and spread it around with the bottom of the spoon. When the whites of the bread are covered, place the slice on top of the first slice that is covered with the peanut butter.
  6. Dispose of the spreading knife and spoon in the sink.
  7. If you like the sandwich the way it is, you are ready to eat. If not, take a kitchen knife and cut in half diagonally or vertically and you have yourself a sandwich ready to eat.
  8. Dispose of the kitchen knife carefully because it is sharp.
