63 hours

The last few weeks working at Magic Kingdom are so stressful because of Christmas holiday. Just looking at my schedule of sixty-three hours this week makes me want to give up but I know that I can bear it. Magic Kingdom is the busiest park in the world during Christmas and New Year’s celebration week. My leaders told me that Magic Kingdom’s guest capacity is around 80,000 plus but allegedly hold more than 100,000 guests. Because of this expected forecast, Disney limit park attendance to levels more conducive to guest safety and enjoyment.

As I investigate further about parking, my leaders told me about “phases” in parking. Closure starts at phase 1 and can progress up to phase 4. If Magic Kingdom’s parking reached phase 4, parking closes at 10:00 am and parking attendants have no choice but to send guests away meaning they cannot enter the park. Also according to my leaders, Disney does not publish its park closure procedure and it can change at any time.

Wow! 63 hours? That’s insane, I actually wanted to pick up an extra shift for this week and put it into the hub and it got denied, which I found weird. Good luck at work, you can do it!

63hours ? Woah that’s a lot the most I have done is 58 hours. That’s good to know and something to learn about the parks capacity. I really hope I can get into the park with my family this weekend. Good information to know !

You most definitely got this! Best of luck this week.
