Last week was a blur and I am sitting here trying to remember what happened. The only thing that pops into my head is the a conversation I had with my area manager. She sat me down and just chatted me up. I was like oh okay lets chat. We chatted for a half hour about life she told me all about her kids and grandchildren. I think this is a great thing for managers to do because it really helps them connect with their cast members. Other then that not much to report. I went home this week for a funeral. Ironic how the word fun is in that word! Anyways I am also starting to look beyond my program for when I get back to the city. I am looking into different internships and just trying to get going with my life.
Next week is my big trip!

I agree that sitting with your cast is a valuable technique. You expressed that you liked this time and that you appreciated that she did meet with you just to chat. But WHY do you think she did this? 30 minutes is a long time, what could she have been trying to accomplish?
