Memories

As the final group of new CP’s arrive to start their journey, I cannot believe mine is ending. How quickly the last four months have flown by. I especially remember the mix of trepidation and excitement for the impending months when I arrived a day before the program started, and the first two weeks of trying to get adjusted to Orlando, Vista, sharing a room with someone, classes, work, and of course, navigating (and learning patience with) the buses, and the parks.

I remember finding out my position and work location at casting, getting my nametag at Traditions, meeting Mickey for the first time, putting on my costume for the first day of work (yikes), celebrating my 26th birthday at EPCOT, going on a 45 minute ride to Walmart and finding out it was actually 10 minutes away, riding Rockin’ Roller Coaster for the first time, taking the “Earning My Ears” ribbon off of my nametag, Disney One More Day where we stayed at Magic Kingdom until 6am, driving for the first time, getting that first Guest Service Fanatic card…

It is surreal to think that it is coming to a close as many memories, and friendships were made. However, I am once again nervous, but excited for the next chapter.
