When i got accepted to the disney program i wasn’t sure what to expect, besides working long hours and having enough cash to save. Also, i was excited to live on my own and meet new people from all over the world. The first day i arrived here i was running on no sleep, like most people who came. The line was not long when i came here but i wasn’t here early in the morning like most people. The check in process was very smooth. The next two days i had the days to myself so i could get comfortable and familiarized myself with the area. When i had traditions, it was interesting they explained to use what we needed to know however they didnt tell us everything because most things i found out from asking other CP’s. I didnt mind it much because thats how you get to know others and maybe make a few friends in the process. Traditions helped us understand how disney society works and the beliefs and history. I like how they explained the history of Walt Disney because it familiarized us with our product and you can’t sell the product without the product knowledge. Traditions made me feel more welcome into the disney family and even more excited to be working here.
