disinclined means un like or un willing . I came across this reading in the open lab reading of  Kate Murphy  we want privacy , but cant stop sharing well as I was reading the article I came across this word disinclined which I saw the word before but I wanted to get the real definition of what this word means disinclined  I tried to use it in a sentence while I read it but I really wasn’t getting the understanding of the word and  how I can use it in a sentence so I looked the word up and the word disinclined means and now I can use the word disinclined  in a sentence.
Those who have transferred from city tech seemed disinclined to turn back now.

with the glossary assignment it was not hard but it was kind of difficult finding words that you really didn’t know what the meant some of the words I know what they meant but I still really didn’t understand the meaning of the word so I still choose to put the words into my glossary. But as I went on throughout the semester I was forgetting to add words to my glossary so that’s why now I had to add five more words to it when I thought I had already done so I think that its a good idea to look up words you don’t know when you are reading so that you can understand what you are reading when you come cross words that you may be familiar with or do not understand .

 consensus means a general agreement  I encountered this word in the open lab reading of What if you could choose between the fastest route and the most Beautiful   when I was reading the article I came across this word. I think I knew what the word meant but just wanted to really get the true meaning of the word so that when I see the word again I don’t second guess myself on what the word truly means . Now that I looked the word up in a I can use the word in a sentence to get the full understanding of the word consensus
 and I can use it in a sentence once we had everybody consensus  then we can use that as a start on who to pick as the president .

elusive  hard to comprehend   I saw this word in my city tech open lab reading  Walk with me. when I encountered the word elusive I didn’t understand the word and what it meant it was a little confusing to read when you don’t understand what a word means in your reading. So I try to read it to understand it to try to maybe figure it out in the reading to se if I understand it which I didn’t so I looked up the word it was totally different meaning to what I thought the word to mean so I try to use the word in a sentence so when I go back to read it again or if I see the word again I would understand it . the word elusive was hard to comprehend or define now that I can use the word in a sentence I understand the word better.

detriment means an injury or damage  this word I found in the open lab article by Christopher Mele  as I was reading the article I came across this word in my reading  I wasn’t confused about the word detriment but I wanted to know what the word meant in the reading so that I would not confused this word to mean something  else so now when I look the word up and I can use the word detriment in a sentence I now will not be confused by the word and what it means. detriment means I was able to travel with put detriment to my baby’s health

 rouse is to cause to break from trouble . where I first encounter this word was in the class reading when I saw the word I didn’t understand what the word meant I have seen the word before but I thought it meant something different than what I was reading. I used the word rouse in a sentence to see if I understood what the word meant and I re read the sentence just so I can understand the word in the paragraph.  what will the voters do to rouse trump this time . So now that I know what the word mean and I can use it in a sentence I can understand the reading better.

when I was reading the article English final article in  class I ran across the word commodity  I couldn’t use it in a sentence because I could not understand what the word meant so I looked up the word to see if I could get a better understanding of the word and maybe use it in a sentence so that I can fully understand what the word means . And then I could try to use it in a sentence also so I was a little stuck with the word . The word commodity means something valued or useful. Human life is a commodity that I don’t take for granted . now that I have used the word in a sentence I now can go back and read the article over and understand why they used that word in the article.

lacking in foresight or discernment .narrow in perspective and without  concern for broader implication.

Where i first encounter the word was in the city tech reading what if you could choose between the fastest route and the most beautiful ? when i was reading this article i came across the word myopic  which i really didn’t understand which i had to keep reading the paragraph over to understand what the word meant which i still didn’t understand so as i look the word myopic up to understand what the word truly meant . myopic to have a broader insight of something not to be narrow in your perspective of something .I now understand what the word myopic means and i can used the word myopic in a sentence and when i see the word in a paragraph i can fully get the understanding to what the word really means.  I have a myopic view of the government and how it is currently being ran.  Now that i can use the word in a sentence i think i have a full underrating of what the word means.

beautiful Route

My most beautiful route during the holiday season  the detour i decide to take is  on of where i would get off the 5 train at Nevins before my regular stop of borough hall.As i get off and walk  the platform  to the stairs and come up and i walk towards the Fulton Mall as I  walk across the street and I pass by all the restaurants along the Fulton Mall as i come to one of the famous restaurant ‘s  downtown  Juniors restaurant It smells so good i love walking pass it . As I continue my walk pass the Fulton mall I pass by the retail stores they are so pretty at this time of the year the holiday season decorations which i really love seeing is very pretty in each one of the retail front windows.I also love seeing the decorations along the outside also its so pretty to me i love seeing the people shopping going from store to store enjoying the holiday shopping .Their are so many people at this time of the day around 12;00 in the afternoon  their still so many people  shopping and enjoying the sites of the decorations in the windows of the stores , children enjoying the time looking at the Christmas trees and all of the holiday decorations tourists taking pictures of all the fun sites and everything that’s going on around them.  As i walk pass the store windows i stop and take a look at the decorations and how they make me feel it gives me such a warm feeling to know that the holiday season is here  and this is on e of the time of the year that i really enjoy seeing the people shopping and the beautiful decorations on display. This detour is a little longer than i would expect because i stop and look at all the decorations they have on display in the store windows as i walk through the Fulton mall to get to city tech its such a beautiful area to be at this time .I enjoy this route its much more beautiful at this time of the year than mu normal walk would be.

More decorations more people just a lot more for me to see this detour is about a 10 to 12 minute walk to school where my usual walk is about 5 to 7 minutes walk from borough hall train station . What does the holiday decoration do to us during the holiday season?does it affect us where we want to go out and spend money because of all the sells they have going on during this time. I feel that not only does the sells influence us to come into the stores but the holiday decorations does also.And i think that is  the point of the decorations to get people to come into their store and buy things because of the holiday’s As you are taking your walk  through the Fulton Mall area the decorations  in all the retail stores  tend to draw you in even if you don’t want too i think that the holiday decorations affect your mood . The mood that the holiday decorations put me into is  of a positive one because i want to go into the store because i see all the pretty decorations and all the sells going on during this time of the year the smell of the holiday fragrances  the Santa clause inviting you to take pictures with him.”According to sally Augustine of the huff post can holiday decor affect us she states that the sorts of red,green and blues which are popular during  Christmas and Hanukkah they tend to boost a person energy level during this time.

So with that being said the holiday decorations can affect your mood well it affects mine in a positive way that’s what i like so much about my walk along the Fulton mall the Christmas lights the decorations the Christmas trees, the store front decorations along outside it allows me to get in the holiday spirit and. those are some of the reason why i like taking this detour just seeing the  people more happy and more festive during the holiday season. I think that the holiday season tends to bring people more closer together  during this time of the year  people coming from all around just to celebrate with their families that’s what the holiday season  reminds me of . I think that what i also like about the holiday season is the smell of chest nuts the smell of hot cocoa the smell of the real Christmas tree the funny Christmas sweaters. according to Sally Augustine “we find holiday smell most calming . Even though  the holiday smell are good  but the overall decorations is what i like to look at along Fulton mall area   very calming to me. The holiday  season decorations is something i enjoy seeing along my route  so by detouring and taking  this route  is more beautiful  than taking the shortest route  to city tech. The feeling of the  holiday decorations  while you are shopping  or just walking by  should be of a positive one during the holiday season where i think most people are in a positive mood.” According to kids health ,org’ preparing for the holidays can help you to learn  about yourself it also can affect your actions  and your mood during the holiday it can have a negative and a positive affect  but more likely to be a positive during the holidays Holiday decorations can put  you in a positive mood  i enjoy this route because of so many things during the holidays not only the decorations but the smells the people just everything about the holiday season.

My detour that I choose to get off is the Nevins stop on the 5  train its about a 10 to 15 minute  walk to city tech why I choose the route is not because its peaceful but because its a beautiful route to me. As I get off the train at Nevins and walk up towards the Fulton mall passing by Juniors restaurant the smell from their always makes me want to but some cheese cake or sit down for some good food. As I walk down towards Fulton Mall I walk pass all of the retail stores . their are so many people during this time which I cant say I wonder why because its always a lot of people during the day time shopping and hustling for their buses and trains. Well its around 11:00 as I walk it still so many people everywhere its the holiday season and people are shopping going from one store to the next  but what I enjoy the most is not the people its the retail shops and their decorations in the window,I always want to stop and take a picture because they decorations are so pretty for the holidays along the Fulton mall is full of decorations for the holidays not only in the retail windows but along the trees and the outside decorations. tourists taking picture of all the nice things they see in the window and outside Santa clause jingling his bell  lets you know its that time of the year its holiday season and my most favorite time of the year .I love this time of the year even though along this route comes with a lot of people hassling by you running fro their train or their buses, people going to and from stores with all their bags but I like seeing it though it does  not bother me at all. The more I get to see the holiday decorations  along the windows is what’s beautiful to me. This walk I would say is like a 10 to 12 minute walk  to city tech my usual walk is along the way of maybe 5 to 7 minutes from Borough hall station. I choose the detour of getting off at Nevins because not of the quickness but because its beautiful during the holiday seasons and I love seeing the holiday decorations .My normal route is not so beautiful with all the court buildings and restaurants and the hotels and schools I would not say its very interesting but its the quickest way of getting to city tech. Maybe if I walk through the park, maybe even then it still is not pretty their my detour of Nevins and walk through enjoying all the decorations I still think the Nevins detour is better than my fasts route to City tech.
