In the article “City Limits” by Colson Whitehead it states “It saw the bewilderment on your face as you stepped out of the stolen matinee, incredulous that there was still daylight after such a long movie.” This was located on the third page, on the third paragraph last sentence.

I encounter this word not knowing nothing about this word or what it meant. When I looked at the word it was clear to me that it meant that its someone who doesn’t believe something is true or don’t like to admit that it’s true. For example some people are unwilling to admit that they are lying. So when I put the word back into the sentence it was cleared to me that the sentence was apart of something or someone not willing to admit the truth. Which in the article is the fact that New York is changing and will continue to.
