“Guidelines for Blogging on the OpenLab” Handout (Page 1, Paragraph 2)

“This course will provide you with an opportunity to gain and hone your blogging skills, which can be valuable for you both at city Techand in your professional endeavors”

As I read this handout I encountered this word and was perplexed by its meaning. When I looked up the definition and read the definition I understood what the paragraph was stating. In this class we will be blogging and to many of us that may seem unnecessary to our majors however, the writing components we will learn can benefit us later. Most majors will require basic writing skills however, blogging will not only will teach us basic skills but it will teach us advanced skills. With this being said endeavors fits this paragraph because it is letting the reader know that the learning skills learned will help us strive or achieve professionally regardless our major.
