“Good Reputation”
Maintaining a good reputation is always a good thing in any company, it’s important to keep relationships with other employees too. Working with the Faculty Commons gave me the opportunity to get to know many faculty members here at City Tech. I’ve built good relationships with some of the African American Studies department faculty. I regularly go there not only for meetings with the Chair, but also to say Hi to the secretary and the other professors there. One professor who I wont name, emails me all the time, sometimes my wife and I go visit her during her office hours just to chat and laugh. I enjoy these relationships, and it makes working with the Chair easier, because she knows who I am as a person, not only as a student design intern.
