  1. Hello, my name is Victor Feng He and I currently live in Brooklyn with my family. In my free time, I usually like to play computer games such as Battleblock Theater or mobile games like Dragalia Lost. Besides playing games, I occasionally like to read books. One of my favorite books is “The Water Seeker” by Kimberly Willis Holt. As of now, I am majoring in Computer Science in the hopes that I can contribute to making video games or if I can’t, I can at least hold a stable job with a steady income. I hope we all have a good semester together.

  2. Hey,

  3. My name is Joyette K. Noel. I am a senior at New York City College of Technology where I am pursing a Bachelor of Science degree. My major is Biomedical Informatics. I plan on continuing my education within the science field in hopes to obtaining my Masters in Medical Informatics. I am sure completely sure of my career path. However, I have recently been researching an interest in general medicine while the stages are still early.

Currently, I am an Assistant Supervisor in the Property Damage department for a Taxi/ Livery Company, American Transit Insurance Company. I have worked here for approximately 5 years. I started from the bottom up. Initially I sorted the mail, queried claim numbers, basic data entry etc. Then, I progressed to entering the summons and complaints for our internal law firm, built relationships with various attorneys and clients to settle claims, built the call center [set the template], trained the eight call representatives, etc. Now, distribute and monitor the tasks for the entire department, train all new employees, answer all Department of Finance and Better Business Bureau Complaints, to name few.

I am phenomenal at my current job, but I am still not fulfilled. I need to do something that is actually life-changing. I love science. The health field has changed and progressed drastically. I am excited to one day be a part of the team, to help and rehabilitate people and assist in a healthy way of life.
