Issues iv been dealing with is finding reliable sources, and i always cant seem to come up with a good introduction sentence as well. Now that we have search engines such as google and yahoo it makes things 20x’s better because now i can search using key words and phrases, instead of struggling to always find what i am looking. Before learning about keywords and phrases in this class researching information on these search engine type sites was much harder to work with. Im also putting key words and phrases i quotes so i get a more specific results of what i am looking for when working with my research topic.
You are not the only. I have been having the same problems getting started. one of my biggest problems is that I don’t have a school Id so it make looking for information off campus much more complicated.. I always have such a big problem starting any type of assignment. However, when I get on track, all of my writing just flows.. One question I have with any research paper is, when we use a book or a long article, do we really have to read the entire text. Yes, Yahoo and Google search engines are great, however, it sure is difficult to know which articles are useful and which are junk. The lessons that the prof. has been going thru sure have been helpful in the researching process.
