Taking apart the samsung SGH-i1067

Title: Taking apart the samsung SGH-i1067 9/11.

Objective: My goal was to examine and look under mostly all the parts and examine/read all the labels. Where each different part was built. I figured out many parts were from many parts of the world. The battery for the phone was made in japan but finished off in china. Part of the phone was also built in new jersey.

Materials: Hands and fingers, mini flat head screwdriver.

Methods: To read/reach all the labels i used ether my hands/fingers or a mini flathead screwdriver to lift up certain parts of the phone such as the battery, and a few of the leds. When my fingers couldn’t reach something i used the flat head i had with me.

Results: I achieved my goal of looking under finding and reading all the different labels and locations to find out where most part of the phone were constructed. So everything essentially went the way i wanted it to.

Discussion: Orginally i figured my hands and fingers would be all the tools i would have needed for reading the labels. So i found a flat head screw driver and everything worked out perfect. If i was to do anything else id try and test the phone to see if works.-

From Watching this video on how to make pasta its pretty simple how to cook it.

No brains needed, just boil your water until it bubbles and add salt. then put in your pasta. stir occasionally so pasta does not stick together for a few minutes, then drain and add your sauce, if its thick add some of the pasta water not all of the pasta water, then plate eat and enjoy. 🙂

Blog/Citing

Citing information is important and necessary for many reasons and one of them is acknowledgment for who wrote the book/article. To me citing makes your source relevant, and supports what ever work you are doing. People who read your work always want to know where your information came from, It validates your work. because if you do not put where it came from, people will judge your work and may not believe its factual. People also may think you plagiarized your work or copy it because it was not cited. Cite work by posting the web address or you could always use easybib.com, to cite works.

Homework Journal 2.

I have learned alot from doing all this research  Iv notably learned that their are many different ways i can search for things, weather it be online via LibX or online catalogs. Also to search using key phrases and words, such as OR.I will defiantly use these ideas out of class because there 50x easier  to work with and i will get a more defined answer while searching for what im looking for. I can also pass this knowledge i have learned to other people who may need help as well. Because it will defiantly help them out like these methods have been helping me out with my research topic and other work as well.

Homework 10.

Issues iv been dealing with is finding reliable sources, and i always cant seem to come up with a good introduction sentence as well. Now that we have search engines such as google and yahoo it makes things 20x’s better because now i can search using key words and phrases, instead of struggling to always find what i am looking. Before learning about keywords and phrases in this class researching information on these search engine type sites was much harder to work with. Im also putting key words and phrases i quotes so i get a more specific results of what i am looking for when working with my research topic.

Homework 9

Search engines these days are alot better the they used to be. and you can get more specific as well, the more you search the better your response is going to be. you can now use specifc words like now or then. and get a much more refind answer the you use to get. you can also use the schools library if you need more help as well.

Homework 8.

i would have to agree, search engines are really usefull, sometimes there less accurate then books but there 20x quicker. espically when doing home work and other stuff. what is your favorite search engine yahoo google bing or all they all the same to you. i prefer google. because it gives me the best answers. i liked my answer soo much i made it my blog post.

lol i was gonna do one on the presidential debate.

Homework 7.

Copyright: Forever Less One Day

Was a very interesting article. Because some of this stuff is really new to me? 1710 was when the first form of copyright was. It gave control to authors on who was allowed to make and print copy’s of their work. I tend to think copyright laws are good, because now you cant use titles and movies of things unless that author or director lets you……..  an example of this would Be J.k Rowlings Harry Potter Series. Another great ex, is George Lucas’s Star Wars, even though his copyright ended, its still going. This is because it was Re-Released so many times, due to squeals, Dvd versions, Blue Ray/Special Editions, Etc. Some stuff you can use like Romeo And Juilet, you can use that but just have to make it your own works.  Like i said before the copyright laws are good but could be alittle more inforced/stricter. Some people are clueless as to if there infringing copyright, like the girl from the video in class basically stole lines from her favorite book series, then lied and said she didnt know, and that it was inspired by her favorite books. She Basically lied.

Homework6.

Facebook has changed alot since it first opened when it was for college students only. im starting to dislike it even more because of the lack of privacy people have. You can basically stalk people in a way. Seeing what peoples first post ever was due to the timeline. i really think this needs to change so people can be more protective.

Homework 5.

I found the article of Wikipedia really interesting, because for the longest time i always used Wikipedia for research and looking up information. In high school  i was told most of the stuff on that website wasnt true. The editors get angry when you change a post on something that was created by a user. I got banned from editing on Wikipedia for such a stupid reason. My favorite sport is hockey im a rangers fan, so awhile back they traded for a bunch of people over the summer, so i figured i would update the roster on wikipedia and, i guess the so called “Editors” did not like that and warned me that if i do that again id be barred from posting. and they changed my revisions. So a few weeks later i did it again cause it still was not fixed and i got barred from editing stuff on Wikipedia with my account. Some people edit for the wrong reason, like how that bedbugs post was changed to “BED BUGS MOTHER FUCKER THEY GON GET YO MOTHA FUCKING ASS BRAAAAAAAT FOOL BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAP.

Overall i thought the article was good, and learned dont edit  something on there even if its clean.
