Late Homework-Citing/Blog

Citing your information is a good idea because professors are very picky about the information is being received. It ‘s to help writer to prevent plagiarism and try to be more thoughtful about their writing. Citing a sources is confusing at times but a website like easy bib can be done in two seconds. Though, sometimes  the website can’t cite the sources from the original then it has to be done manually and citing a sources with no publisher or author it very difficult. It safe to cite any source that are movies, books, magzines just to be safe , so there wont be any problems in the future.

Late H.W#11 journal response

The sources i think was  useful was the LexisNexis search engine and it’s  amazing. LexisNexis  kinda give different sources like newspaper, internet, and journal article that are hard to find and have some sources that  can be reliable. It also  finding sources more easier but i had to find out later by the librarian about the search engine at the end of the outline draft. It still good though because i could use it later for future references. Google scholar was a bit troubling for me because some of the sources i wanted to use badly have to be purchase. The sources i find in Google scholar were books and only give the abstract of it and it was a pain to see a valuable source and not use because you do not have the money to buy it.

Late H.W. # 10

The issue I have with the research proposal was finding a question that can be relevant to the class. It was difficult for me to have a question for my proposal but also finding sources that can answer my question. To write a five pages paper on question you made, is pretty much different  for me and never have to chance to do that. The tips from Badke book have really helped out with the concerned I had and each step he explain ways to know if the question is to broad that it can have to many answer and being  specific enough that it could only focus on one thing.

Notes for Wednesday, December 19
