I strongly agree with the article because even though Florida is well known for their horrific weather, preparing an evacuation plan that will be succesful at the end is really important. Although its a evacuation plan that wont be put into practice frequently it has to be well prepared for when threatening weather does occur. We as cast members have to remain calm so that our guest will remain calm as well and the magic of their experience here at Walt Disney World would remain intact. Safety being our main priority and their experience second, there might be a couple of problems that would arise but if we plan accordingly with the guest in mind then everything well turn out fine.
We have an evacuation plan for any kind of emergency that may occur, doesnt matter the time or place. Being all about safety, as cast member we have to see a video at the begining of every class, that lets us know exactly what is expected from us and where we have to go.
