Weekly Reflective Journal 13

As my program is coming close to an end it is getting busier at my resort. I’m constantly being asked to extend and getting more hours scheduled. A lot of the other college program interns are getting deployed to other resorts, I’m just glad I get to stay at my status resort because I already know where everything is at and how things are done. This week I created magic for a family by getting them fast passes to meet Anna and Elsa and to ride the Seven Dwarf Mine Train. It was the family first visit and they had been trying for months before they got here to get fast passes. The girls were really sad because their parents weren’t willing to wait 2-3 hours to get on the ride or meet Anna and Elsa. I spoke with a leader and we were able to issue them those fast passes. I also sent them a little plush and mickey and Minnie, and a card signed by a Disney princess welcoming them Walt Disney World for the first time. The next day they came down and
showed me the letter and were so excited. It felt so good being able to make their first visit a memorable one.
