After traditions I realized how important first impressions from a company is to a new hired employee. I couldn’t agree more with the article “Create company loyalty with new-hire practices”, HVS Hotel Management maintains that their priority of the employee is to feel welcome, knowledgeable, and proud of the company they will be working for. I remember traditions being the beginning of my start with the Disney Company. The group I had traditions with were as excited as I was and have been looking forward to it since before getting there. The process of traditions were similar to HVS Hotel Management, we saw a video of Walt Disney’s History, the start of the Walt Disney World, the CEO of the company welcoming the newest cast members, and my favorite a video where a bunch of home made video clips of children’s reactions when they found out they are going to Walt Disney World for the first time. This process is really important not only for the company to keep their employees interested and welcomed but as well for the employees to motivate themselves and get a great start to their new career.

  1. I also agree with what you said, it is very important for company hotels to have their employees as a priority. I like the fact that they want their employees to feel welcomed and knowledgeable of their company.
