Question to former Disney students.

Hello Disney Students,  I’ll be doing the Disney College Program for Fall 2014 and I’m super excited. My question is what was one of your biggest challenges while doing the Disney College Program?

    Hi Georgina!

    First of all, Congratulations on your acceptance into the Disney College Program! I’m so excited for you! My name is Timothy and I am a Disney CP Alumni of 2010. One of the biggest challenges for me was time management. There were so many things I wanted to do and was forced to miss out on because I didn’t manage my time well. With two classes and a full workload of 30+ hours, it’s hard to find free time to do much else, even with your days off.

    A key is to make a schedule and stick to it. Discipline is key to maintaining your time management. If you want to work out while you’re there, write down a time you can go to the gym and write down how long you’ll be there, then stick to it!

    If there’s something you wish to take part in, make sure to plan ahead! Get as much information on future events and activities as you can and plan accordingly. Always check the Hub (You’ll learn more on that from orientation) for activities that Cast Members can take part in and just have fun! This is an educational process as well as a career building opportunity but don’t forget where you are, Disney World! So make sure to have fun too!
