So I have apparently been posting my journal entries and assignments in the wrong section. So I had to transfer everything today!
This week at work has been picking up I suppose it is because we are getting into the holiday seasons. The boat rentals have been increasingly high. Its getting closer to mid term season and classes are getting a little more hectic with group work and individual work. So dealing with the chaos at work and chaos of school work, I am finding myself with late nights filled with homework. But I am still trying my best to enjoy Disney as much as possible.
During work I find it difficult to communicate with some cast members because they do not seem to like CP cast members. Although everyone is nice, it is easy to see who makes an attempt to be friendly and who does not. I am however not offended by this because I think this is situation in every job. We even discussed this in class, and how not judge full time employees because they might have had bad experiences with CP cast members and choose to keep to themselves. Or that they simply don’t want to connect with someone to have to say bye in a few months. Either way at first I questioned it but now I understand and do my best not to judge.
I have to say I completely agree with this whole post. It went from having only having 100 guests at our restaurant to having 300 and 400 every single day. Class is giving us back to back assignments, making us work harder and sleep less. I had a talk with one of my full timers at work. The reason they don’t “interact” with cps, is because they say we do whatever we want, don’t really follow the rules how they are supposed to be. She also said that we come and go, so they do not like getting attached. I say not every CP is the same, but what can you do. Any who hope everything gets better for you!
