This past week has been amazing. Not only have I completed my training, but while training I received a GSF for helping another cast member.
A GSF is a Great Service Fanatic Card that cast members can give each other for demonstrating one or more of The Four Key Basic. While I was banking-out our GT (General Teller) told me and my trainer that our MATRA was not processing our sales so we had to do am manual bank-out. Normally the computer would add up all your cash, credits, Disney dining plan, and room charges, but if the GT had let the computer run our paper work we would have been bad. Luckily, my trainer and I knew how to proceed manually. While the GT was checking our work, another cast member also had to do a manual bank-out. She had never done it before so even though we were done, we stayed an hour extra to help here and we all left together. The next morning I walked in to the office I saw my GSF taped to our message board.
