The Student Research Poster Session is nearly here–it starts on Wednesday morning. Can you feel the excitement in the air? That’s excitement for research, for demonstrating how great the student research experience is via your poster, and joining the Undergraduate Research Committee at the Research Mixer! Students! Faculty! Come meet your colleagues, classmates, and City Tech’s fine mentors while learning about the research experience at City Tech.
Snacks and prizes!
Join the Undergraduate Research Committee at our semi-annual research mixer! This will be a great opportunity for students and faculty members to meet to discuss their research interests, with the goal of establishing mentor-mentee relationships for next semester.
If you are a faculty member who has mentored student researchers before, or are new to the mentoring process, we hope you can come meet the next group of student researchers!
If you’re a student interested in starting a research project, come learn more about the opportunities available at City Tech.
We hope to see you in N119 on 12/4 at the end of the first day of the Student Research Poster Session.
Calling all faculty and students interested in mentored undergraduate research! Today is the semi-annual Research Mixer, an opportunity for students to learn from faculty mentors about benefits of and opportunities for working with a mentor to conduct a research project. The Undergraduate Research Committee hopes that the mixer will facilitate meaningful connections between research mentors and students interested in research. Not sure if you’re ready to take on a research project? Come listen and find out more about the process!
And, of course, snacks for all and prizes for a lucky few!
Each semester, the Coordination of Undergraduate Research Committee sponsors a Research Mixer for students and faculty to learn about research projects at City Tech and to meet interested collaborators. That means that if you’re a student, you can come to the Research Mixer to meet a research mentor. Faculty members, you can join the Research Mixer to meet students interested in working with you on a research project.
The Research Mixer has now become part of the festivities during the Student Research Poster Session. Click on the poster for more details. We hope to see you in Klitgord Gym on Wednesday, December 5th from 3:00-5:00pm!
