This word was located was found on the “The Happiest and Saddest Places in New York City, According to Twitter” article by Brian Merchant. This is located on the first page,8th paragraph, first sentence. Which states ” Having been to just about all of the above, I can attest that each is capable of turning the gentlest romantic into a misanthrope”.

When I came upon this word I had no clue as to what it meant. I thought it was an object but once I looked up the word it made sense that the word meant something negative. It meant that a person who is full of anger and hatred that tries to hurt others.So bring it back to the sentence” Having been to just about all of the above, I can attest that each is capable of turning the gentlest romantic into a misanthrope” this was referred to that word because since it’s some place that people go to it can also could be made into a negative place where people wouldn’t want to go to anymore.
