HNTB is seeking an Assistant Team Leader in our New York, NY office.
HNTB Inc., a nationally recognized infrastructure firm, is looking for an entry-level person to train to become an Assistant Team Leader involving bridge inspection work, training under the close supervision of an experienced Inspector in the New York Office.

Job Summary:
Train to become an Assistant Team Leader for NYSDOT biennial bridge inspections. Candidate will perform rudimentary mathematical calculations; perform quantity take-offs from construction drawings; prepare photo logs and prepare photo location plans using MicroStation CADD software, and prepare condition sketches of structural elements inspected.
Essential Responsibilities:
- 2-year degree in Engineering Technology or similar degree in the Engineering field
- AAS in Civil Engineering Technology, preferred by December 2020 but June 2021 is acceptable
- Must be physically fit, have a driver’s license, not be afraid of heights and have good communication and computer skills. Must know Word, Excel, and MicroStation.
This is a 22-month assignment.
