Final Project: Part 3

The film I choose for my final project was Hachi: A Dog’s Tale (2009).

The film tells the story of a university professor who came across a poor little Akita dog at the train station in a small town and decided to adopt it and named it “Hachi”. Hachi used to go to the station to meet the professor back and go home together. He waited 10 years even after the death of his owner, which moved the world to his loyalty.

In the movie, Hachi and its owner finally meet in winter. So I drew them leaving footprints in the snow in my poster, and the 10 footprints for Hachi represent the ten years it waited. Then I just use yellow and blue, because I want to combine winter and emotion.

Final Project: Film Poster

For my final film poster, I went with the 1996 teen slasher movie, Scream. Directed by West Craven. The movie is classic within its slasher horror genre. It was very meta and described every cliche in a slasher movie while also being a slasher movie. It has some comedy but mostly sticks with its horror vibe.
