For my final film poster, I went with the 1996 teen slasher movie, Scream. Directed by West Craven. The movie is classic within its slasher horror genre. It was very meta and described every cliche in a slasher movie while also being a slasher movie. It has some comedy but mostly sticks with its horror vibe.
The name of the movie I chose is called, Scream. This horror/mystery film was made in 1996 and is a slasher flick. It revolves around a female lead named Sidney Prescott and her group of friends who are targeted by a crazed knife-wielding maniac in a costume.
The film takes in Woodsboro High School in Woodsboro, California. The main characters are Sidney Prescott, Billy Loomis, Stu, and Ghostface.
The audience for this film is teens and young adults.
The original movie poster works great by showing facial expressions and the tone of the movie. It lacks by showing the floating heads of the main cast.
