- Music usually appears as the physical version of my art. Certain songs I listen to create a visual image to me or a certain feeling and I always want to visually portray that when I’m in the mood to draw.
- I’m from Barbados, so the colorfulness and the vibrancy influences my art but only on a small level. But being able to see the stars and seeing jellyfishes from my country influences it a lot. The stars and the jellyfish even though from a distance, look simple but at the same time, is more complicated than it looks
- My personal experiences with depression and anxiety influence my drawings because sometimes when it’s hard to get a certain emotion or a bad thought out, I make it into a painting so I can show the people I want to express to. It also gives you different types of ideas when you’re also in your own head.
